POLICIES

Thank you for contacting us.  Please take the time to consider the following information about our company.  We have been family owned and operated for over 15 years.  References are available upon request and we are more than pleased to welcome you to our workshop for a viewing.

We predominantly custom build upholstered goods with limited exposed wood, reupholster and slip-cover for residential, as well as commercial projects.  We have access to a variety of upholstering materials (commercial /outdoor/residential), leather, vinyl, upholstering trim, metal feet and nail-heads.

Regarding custom built items:  RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ARE PROHIBITED ON CUSTOM ORDERS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MANUFACTURERS DEFECTS OR DAMAGES.  A CUSTOM ORDER IS AN ITEM SPECIFICALLY BUILT FOR OUR CLIENTELE AND NOT A MASS PRODUCED ITEM FROM AN AVERAGE INVENTORY.

General Craftsmanship & Framing:   Please note that your items are not machine made, but locally hand crafted and as such, there is a +/- of .5 - .75” dimension tolerance for all measurements.  Main frames are corner blocked from domestic, sustainable, kiln dried Alder or Beech woods. 

Suspension is composed of sinuous steel springs, canvas wrapped to ensure quiet  springs and support.  Cushions are comprised of a standard HR 20, 30, or 40 foam (standard fire rating: Cal. Tech. Bul. 117), with choice of either 10/90 Down/Feather envelope or blown poly- fiber (prices vary) or Dacron wrap.

Textile Disclaimer: Yardage estimates take into account plain non-directional fabric and patterned or directional napped fabrics.  Because textiles vary greatly in all aspects of pattern, content, shading and pricing, customer is solely responsible for making certain that the material chosen is appropriate for the assigned upholstering need. 

* There is a quoting limit should no projects manifest after the third quote.
* Lead Time: Currently 3 business weeks from receipt of deposit and material.
* Deposit Amount: 50% with balance due upon completion.  C.O.D. Adherence.
* Pick up, delivery & installations are to be determined per project requirements.
* Quote is valid for ONLY 30 business days from the quoted date.
* Taxes may apply. (Please provide resale cert. via fax to omit taxable amount)
* We accept all credit cards and checks.  Please be prepared with deposit to initiate work orders and final payment to receive completed items.

WE DO NOT CANCEL, return, or exchange an order without incurring further charges. All changes must be in writing & accompanied by signature. When approved, please print and re-fax with signature, date of approval and deposit to initiate work order.

Our hours are as follows:  Monday - Friday - 9 AM - 4 PM. * Times are flexible.  Please call a couple of hours in advance of your arrival so that we may have a person available on the floor for you.
